Steps to Submit Mini Grant Application:


1. Visit www.healthierneighbors.com to find and submit your Healthier Neighbors Mini Grant Application OR submit your typed responses, March 1, 2019, in person, at the following location: Urban League (Tamarind Office- 2107 N Tamarind Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407). No applications will be received after 5pm, March 1, 2019. 


2. To ensure eligibility, ALL of the flowing must apply:

     a.  If applying as a Non-profits or For-Profits your proposal must prioritize individuals in the  

           Riviera Beach (33404) and/or Northern West Palm Beach (33401, 33407) area.

     b.  If applying as a resident you must reside within Riviera Beach and/or Northern West Palm 

           Beach and your proposal must prioritize individuals in the Riviera Beach (33404) and/or  

           Northern West Palm Beach (33401, 33407) area.

     c.  Your idea/project focuses primarily on one or more of the following areas:

           i. Access or education related to healthy foods

         ii. Root causes of trauma and violence

        iii. Engaging faith-based organizations with the community

        iv. Small Business Start-up


3. If selected as a finalist, you will provide a formal presentation (up to 10 minutes. During this presentation you will share information about your proposed project. 


4. All sections and questions on this application must be completed (unless stated otherwise). This includes: Project Leader, Project Overview, and Application Questions. Please print a copy for your records prior to submission. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
